General Cables

General cables are used for supplying power and transmitting signals for major components related to driving.

Heat-resistant Cables

Durability has been dramatically enhanced in heat resistant cables. With superior durability and sound proof properties, these cables are used in high temperature, high vibration and highly sound proof environments. They are usually used in the engine bay.
Furthermore, heat resistant auto cables are heat and oil resistant, therefore used in the engine bay and fuel control systems to transmit signals and energy. Heat resistant cables can resist heat up to 250℃ (temperatures range: -40~200℃). They can withstand oil and fuel immersion without detriment due to their heat resistant properties.

Shield Cables

Shield cables are used for protecting data transmission from EMI or electric noises. Noise is generated from electric devices outside the cables or other pairs. Metal foil or braided materials are wrapped around the whole cable or individual pairs are shielded. The shielding method depends on the cable usage environment or application needs.

Battery Cables

Wires for automotive batteries are wires used around the batteries in automobiles, and they are divided into general battery cables and earth bond cables used for earthing. Their specifications range from 3SQ to 100SQ, and specifications are selected depending on where they are used and current carrying capacity. They range from general battery cables to high-flexibility battery cables.

Module Cables

Module cables are being used recently for electronically operated parts of vehicle, such as the ABS, EPB and EPS. They are used in engine bays. There are knock sensor cables and actuator cables that are used for ABS, EPB, and EPS (MDPS) systems. Demand is also increasing due to the popularity of around view monitors and rear cameras.

Aluminum Cables

Aluminum cables have been developed recently to satisfy the latest automobile trends. Such cables are typically 30% lighter than existing copper cables. There are signal cables and battery cables with more types being developed. Aluminum cables are forecasted to replace 80% of auto cables.

HV Cables

High voltage cables are widely used, from hybrid vehicles to PHEVs and EVs in both the car exterior and interior. High voltage cables can withstand 600V~1000V. There are unshielded/shielded types. Allowable temperature and shielding type depends on the area of usage.
